MB High School Investment Competition
The Manitoba High School Investment Competition (MHIC) is an opportunity for Manitoba High School students to explore their entrepreneurial spirit by presenting a real business, to local business professionals. The business MUST be something they could start while going to school, even if it means working out of their kitchen, basement, or living room. This should be refelcted in their financial statements, for example a rent paid to their parents.
The competition will comprise of four components: a written business plan, oral presentation, elevator pitch, and tradeshow (new for this year!!). This will take place from April 19 - 20, 2012 (Thursday to Friday). MHIC is open to all high school students regardless of area of studies. Schools are not limited to the number of business plans they can submit.
